Our YTG (Deep Cycle GEL) series is GEL battery with 15 years floating design life, it is ideal for stand-by or frequent cyclic discharge applications under extreme environment. Using thick diecasting high tin low calcium alloy grids and adding vaporized silica into the electrolyte, the YTG series offers excellent recovery after deep discharge under frequent cyclic discharge, and the cycle life can be 400 cycles @ 100% DOD. Suitable for solar, CATV, marine, RV and deep discharge UPS and telecommunication etc.

A: The GEL battery is also called crystal gel battery and it is the upgrade version of AGM battery by adding vaporized silica into the electrolyte. The electrolyte is not fluid but like jelly. By doing so, the batteries can endure more cycles of discharge and harsh working conditions, especially high temperature environment and less power supply.
