Important Notice

NEVER charge LiFePO4 batteries with a charger not specifcally compatible with LiFePO4 batteries. ONLY use a charger which can apply the"constant current / constant voltage"(cc/cv) charge technique with LiFePO4 voltage settings. Although a LiPo charger also applies this charge technique, thec harger MUST be LiFePO4 compatible. DO NOT attempt to charge your LiFePO4 battery on a LiPo-only charger.
LiFePO4 batteries are expensive and can be damaged due to over discharge or over charge. Damage due to over discharge can occur if small loads (such as: alarm systems, relays, standby current of certain loads, back current drain of battery chargers or charge regulators) slowly discharge the battery when the system is not in use. In case of any doubt about possible residual current draw, isolate the battery by opening the battery switch, pulling the battery fuse(s) or disconnecting the battery plus when the system is not in use.
Do not connect the positive terminal and negative terminal of the battery to each other with any metal object (such as wire).
Only use approved LiFePO4 battery chargers.
Do not pierce the battery with nails, strike the battery with a hammer, step on the battery or otherwise subject it to strong impacts or shocks.
Do not expose battery to water or salt water, or allow the battery to get wet.
Do not charge LiFePO4 battery with any other types of battery chargers.
Be careful not to drop heavy tools on the battery.
Keep it away from children.
