SNE research, a global information agency, has released the latest global EV battery loading data. From January to September 2023, the number of batteries installed in electric vehicles (EVs, PHEVs, and HEVs) registered in countries around the world was approximately 485.9 GWH, an increase of 44.4% compared to the same period last year.
In 2022, the global EV battery loading will be 517.9GWH, and the current statistics have exceeded 90% of last year's total. However, in single month September, the global EV battery loading was 56.9GWH, a drop of 13.9% compare with 66.1GWH in August.
According to data released by SNE Research, a South Korean market research agency, on the 7th, the global market share of Korean power batteries from January to September this year decreased by 1.1% year-on-year to 23.8%. During the same period, the installed volume of EV batteries in the global market increased by 44.4% year-on-year to 485.9 GWh
