Our LFP12-100 is specially designed to meet the customer's demand of running golf cart fleet with different brands of golf carts, such as ICON, CLUB CAR, YAMAHA, EZ GO, CUSHMAN, LVTONG etc. It is not realistic to make a 36V or 48V lithium battery for each brand, as their battery compatment is different. In this case, a 12V lithium battery is the best solution and they can be serial connected to achieve 36V (3pcs 12V lithium battery in serial) and 48V (4pcs 12V lithium battery in serial), just like the 12V lead acid batteries.
Compare with 12V 100Ah lithium battery used in solar system (some supplier will sell such batteries to customers used for electric vehicles), our deep cycle 12V 100Ah lithium battery uses high rate cell and the BMS is customized high current discharge BMS. As normal solar system is only max. 1C discharge from battery, while the electric vehicle needs 2-3C discharge current when fully load or go uphill. The applications between ESS and EV are different for battery. Besides, our 12V 100Ah lithium battery has an independent ANDERSEN charging port outside, it will allow customers or end users to charge the battery full before installation or one battery lags behind. To minimize the batteries voltage different when the 12V lithium batteries are used in group, we have our paternt balancing module for the battery. It is active voltage balancing function with min. 0.001V, in this case, the batteries' voltage difference will be minimized and the battery life is prolonged.
